Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data D Consulting collects through dconsult.me, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We keep it deliberately short and plain.
Who is responsible
D Consulting (Itai Gal), Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel. For any privacy question or request, email itai@dconsult.me.
What we collect
- Details you send us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, phone number (if provided) and your message.
- Usage data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type, and referring source. This is collected via cookies and similar technologies.
- Your language choice. Stored locally in your browser so the site remembers English or Hebrew. This never leaves your device.
- Email updates. If you subscribe to updates, see Email updates below.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if relevant, to prepare a proposal.
- To understand which content is useful and improve the site.
Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis is your consent (analytics) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf: Google (analytics, and the record of consent for email updates), Resend (the email-updates list, stored in the USA), our form delivery provider, and our email provider. Our site is hosted on GitHub Pages.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept as long as needed for the business relationship and any legal obligation. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time. Email itai@dconsult.me and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may also complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority or, if you are in the EEA or UK, to your local data protection authority.
Email updates
If you subscribe to updates on this site, this is what happens to your details.
- What we collect. Your email address, the language and address of the page you subscribed on, when you subscribed and confirmed, the version of the consent text you saw, and whether you have unsubscribed.
- Why. To send you new posts about every two weeks and, now and then, promotional updates about D Consulting's services, and to be able to prove that you agreed to receive them.
- Legal basis. Your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); in Israel, section 30A of the Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) Law). You can withdraw it at any time through the unsubscribe link in every email, or by writing to itai@dconsult.me.
- Who has access. Only D Consulting (Itai Gal) has access; Resend and Google process the data on our behalf. Resend stores the list in the USA and sends the emails, under a data processing agreement that includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses; Resend also takes part in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Google stores the record of your consent. We never sell the list or share it for anyone else's marketing.
- How long we keep it. While you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe, everything is deleted except your address on a suppression list, so that you are not emailed again, and the record of your consent; these two are kept for 3 years.
- Your rights. You can ask to access, correct or delete your details, and withdraw your consent at any time. You may complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority or, if you are in the EEA or UK, to your local data protection authority.
- No tracking in the emails. We do not track whether you open the emails or click their links.
Every email names the sender, gives our contact details and carries an unsubscribe link.
Cookies
The site uses analytics cookies set by Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out add-on. Blocking them does not affect your ability to use the site.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above.
